We believe that sustainability is achieved when landscapes, cultures and livelihoods are designed as integrated, living systems deeply rooted in their location.
We provide high-level design expertise that supports adaptation, learning and long-term resilience within evolving landscapes. Our approach is versatile and human-scaled, guided by a holistic vision that places life at the centre of the design process. For this reason, we describe our practice as organic design: one that consciously integrates the living dimension into every stage of work.
While our core expertise lies in Organic Architecture, our work extends across the farming, health and environmental sectors. We design Sense Gardens, Biodynamic Farms and Therapeutic Gardens.
Over its 13 years of operations, Depu has collaborated with a wide range of private and public partners. Projects have included outlining intimate garden spaces, large-scale rehabilitation of abandoned sites transformed into education campuses and the setup of a sense garden following anthroposophical principles.

Nature Kindergardens in Germany
6 – 14 August 2024
This training journey was created at the request of nursery teachers who wished to integrate nature education into their curriculum in a structured way. Germany was chosen because of its long-standing tradition in environmental education, beginning at preschool level.
European University Discovery Tour
13 – 27 July 2024
Chinese high school students toured European university cities in The Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany and Italy, exploring academic opportunities while experiencing the cultural character of different regions.
Discovering Australian nature, language, art and Waldorf education

A rich exploration of Australia’s landscapes, language and Waldorf creativity, from Sydney to Melbourne. By the time the group departed, they carried home not only new language skills and artistic experiences, but also a deeper clarity, openness and strength in shaping their everyday lives.

Professional Study Tour on European Culture, Traditions and Education

Over thirteen days, the programme travelled through Italy, Switzerland and Germany, combining institutional and exhibition visits with cultural experiences while offering students a deeper understanding of European education, cities and community life.

These two fourteen-day study tours in Europe offered a unique experience at the heart of organic and biodynamic agriculture and European culture, combining high-level professional training with cultural discovery. The programme included visits to major international institutions in the agricultural and organic sector, meetings with experts and training sessions on advanced sustainable cultivation techniques.
